Job Description:
As a Truck Driver Position with Travis Perkins, you will play a vital role in delivering building materials to customers across the UK. This is a full-time, permanent position with employed working hours, offering a competitive basic salary and bonus earning potential.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with Travis Perkins and contribute to the success of our business. You will be responsible for loading vehicles in the yard using HIABs, ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safe, and compliant with road and transport legislation. Additionally, you will deliver building materials from our branch to local customers in a safe and professional manner.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Loading vehicles in the yard using HIABs.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safe, and compliant with road and transport legislation.
  • Delivering building materials from our branch to local customers in a safe and professional manner.
  • Developing relationships with customers, building new ones and nurturing existing connections.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Class 2 driving license, maintain up-to-date CPC records, and possess 12 months+ driving experience. The branch will fully fund your HIAB training, enabling you to become qualified and comfortable operating vehicle-mounted cranes.
