About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformational change in improving inclusion across Scottish Borders. As an Educational Psychologist, you will deliver services as part of the Council's Psychological Service, carrying out duties in accordance with service policies and practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering educational psychology services as directed by the Principal Psychologist
  • Carrying out duties in accordance with service policies and practice guidelines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully registered as an Educational Psychologist in the UK with the Health and Care Professions Council (or working towards the relevant qualification). You must also have an Honours Degree in Psychology and an accredited postgraduate qualification in educational psychology.

As a member of the Scottish Borders Council team, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this role is £62,000 - £79,000, depending on experience.
