Job Title: Care Home Training Specialist

About the Job:

This exciting role for a Trainer who has delivered training ideally in nursing homes or care homes training or health and social care environments involves travelling across the region. Our client requires the successful care home trainer to drive to various sites across the region, with various training, health, and social care paraphernalia which will be supplied by our client, along with a laptop and phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training throughout the region, covering south east of England - Essex
  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of care homes and health and social care organisations
  • Work closely with our client to understand their training needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of training delivery and participant feedback
  • Collaborate with our client's team to ensure seamless delivery of training programs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs, both in-person and virtually
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to coach colleagues of all levels
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and travel requirements
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant Learning & Development/training qualification
  • Training/teaching qualification PTTLS or be willing to work towards

What You'll Get:

  • Paying up to £40,000 based on £35,000 salary and £5000 car + benefits
  • £35K Basic Salary, £5K Car Allowance, Contributory Pension and Healthcare Scheme, internal Benefits 25x days Annual Leave plus 8x Bank Holidays
