About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pension Scheme Administration Specialist to join our team at WTW. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pension schemes, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, meeting all performance standards and delivery promises.
  • Escalate any issues or problems to the Team Leader, providing clear and concise information to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Act as a point of reference for technical issues and non-standard cases, providing expert guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to the Team Leader, ensuring the continuous enhancement of our services.
  • Monitor and manage the workload of junior associates, providing coaching and guidance to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, identifying training needs and proposing solutions to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues.
  • Monitor and manage data quality, identifying any issues and proposing solutions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.
  • Assist in the preparation of large mailing projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.
  • Scope and manage costs for projects outside of business as usual, monitoring spend versus budget and ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Manage complaints and issues, providing clear and concise information to clients and ensuring timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes, with a strong understanding of the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience of coaching and supporting less experienced colleagues, with a proven track record of developing and enhancing the skills and knowledge of others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Customer-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
  • Computer literate, with experience of using Excel spreadsheets and other relevant software applications.
