Preston Disability Support Worker Position
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to fill a Female Carer position in Preston. The successful candidate will support a lady living in adapted accommodation with complex health and mobility conditions.
The role involves providing personal care, including dressing, showering, and assisting with toileting, as well as daily living support like shopping, meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning. You will also be responsible for supporting with managing medication and occasional companionship when attending appointments.
A track hoist is available, and full training will be provided. Patient transport or wheelchair-adapted taxis will be available on these occasions.
We require someone with a mature attitude, a caring and compassionate nature, good communication skills, and reliability. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work independently, and have a strong desire to provide high-quality care.
Salary: £12 per hour. Hours will be 9am – 2pm Monday – Friday with some flexibility by negotiation.
