Job Description:

A well-established school in Preston is seeking an experienced SEMH support worker to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children who display challenging behaviors and possess excellent de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students who require SEMH-related assistance
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and inclusion
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create engaging, interactive lessons

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children who have SEMH-related needs
  • Team Teach training and up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • $25,500 - $33,000 per annum, depending on experience
