About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Family Finding Social Worker to join our team at Coram. As a Family Finding Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality family finding service for the London Borough of Hillingdon, supporting children with a plan for adoption.

You will be part of a small and supportive team, working closely with colleagues to develop best practices and skills in family finding. You will have access to resources and services within Hillingdon to support your role and be part of a larger network of support from colleagues across the Regional Adoption Agency.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension, offering continuity to the children we are supporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality family finding service for children with a plan for adoption in Hillingdon
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop best practices and skills in family finding
  • Access resources and services within Hillingdon to support your role
  • Participate in a larger network of support from colleagues across the Regional Adoption Agency

Requirements:

  • Experience in family finding or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the adoption process and family finding principles
