About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Family Finding Social Worker to join our team at Coram. As a Family Finding Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality family finding service for the London Borough of Hillingdon, supporting children with a plan for adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, adoption agencies, and other stakeholders to identify potential adoptive families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential adoptive families to ensure they meet the needs of children in care.
  • Provide support and guidance to adoptive families throughout the adoption process.
  • Work closely with other professionals to ensure a smooth transition for children into adoptive families.

Requirements

  • Experience in family finding or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of adoption laws and procedures.
