Job Title: Office Manager and PA to Chair

Location: Warrington

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Role: Permanent – Full Time

We are McCarthy Recruitment, a dynamic and innovative business that provides bespoke recruitment, consulting, and training services to our clients and candidates. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Manager and PA to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the office, including coordinating office activities, managing supplies, handling administrative support, and ensuring office efficiency. In addition to office management responsibilities, you will also support our chair as their dedicated PA, working on a range of personal and professional executive assistant tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diary management and coordination
  • UK and international travel, accommodation, and expenses management
  • Planning and executing company meetings, events, and training sessions
  • Overseeing and coordinating various functions within the business, including finance, HR, marketing, supplier contracts, sales KPI, health and safety, reporting, and IT management
  • Managing financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, bookkeeping, creditor management, debtor management, cash flow management, and bank reconciliation
  • Assisting with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and managing the onboarding of new employees
  • Negotiating and managing supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms and optimal relationships
  • Developing and implementing sales KPI reporting systems to track performance and drive improvements
  • Overseeing the management, repair, and renewal of office equipment and IT management
  • Supporting the Sales Support team with holiday cover in all aspects of day-to-day tasks
  • Managing projects and delivering to all deadlines
  • Problem-solving and identifying issues to create a plan to rectify them
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a track record of success in managing multiple functions within a dynamic organization
  • A strong working knowledge of Xero or similar finance system
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Experience in managing multiple diaries, scheduling travel, and accommodation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively
