Claims Processing Specialist

As a leading solicitor's firm based in the North West, we provide exceptional legal services to clients nationwide. With a team of experienced professionals, we specialise in handling no win no fee claims across various sectors, helping individuals and businesses retrieve compensation for financial mis-selling and consumer issues.
This role involves working as part of our growing claims processing team, handling high-volume customer service/telephone queries. We require an individual with proven experience in this field and the ability to maintain high-quality standards on every interaction.
Main Responsibilities:- Process customer calls and support requests to achieve customer satisfaction
- Update and maintain customer information databases
- Evaluate inquiries and refer them to the relevant team members when necessary
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers in arrears
- Engage in conversations to understand customer needs
- Demonstrate a "customer first" approach by maintaining high-quality standards on every interaction
- Identify and address customer issues, considering their personal circumstances
- Resolve customer complaints through problem-solving
- Proven experience in handling phone calls and customer interactions (2 years desired)
- Effective communication skills – verbal and written
- Basic administrative skills – updating claim files and CRM systems
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Confident and resilient individual with excellent communication skills
- Desirable: Experience in finance/claims/legal sectors
- Pension scheme provided (£7,800 annually)
This position offers a competitive salary range of £24,200 - £29,400 per year, dependent on experience.
