Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Estimated Salary: Up to £25,000 per year based on education and experience
This is an excellent opportunity for a high-achieving graduate to gain experience in clinical psychology prior to pursuing a career. The role involves working as a full-time Clinical Support Specialist at a well-regarded school in East London.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in both the classroom environment and working one-to-one with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). This position offers the chance to develop skills and knowledge while making a positive impact on young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation
- Provide individual support for children with SEN
- Adapt learning materials and resources to meet the needs of every child in the classroom
- Undergraduate degree as a minimum
- Background in Psychology with some clinical experience is desirable but not necessary
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning
- Enhanced DBS on the online update service is preferred but not essential
