Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as a Specialist in Palliative Care Service Delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with our multidisciplinary team, providing expert pharmacy services to patients requiring palliative care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy advice and support services at ward level for Queens Hospital and Saint Francis Hospice.
  • Develop and implement training programs within palliative care services.
  • Foster strong relationships with community-facing hospice staff, particularly the SCCS team.
Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as lead pharmacist for palliative care services across both hospitals.
  • Collaborating with the Lead Pharmacist to develop and deliver clinical pharmacy services.
  • Supporting community-facing hospice staff, including the SCCS team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice/Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Comprehensive experience as a clinical pharmacist practitioner, including a solid grounding in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.
