At RSK Group Limited, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic Water, Environment & Scientific Services department.

This is a full-time, hybrid role that involves working from our office in Stirling and field-based work some evenings and weekends. A full UK driving licence is required.

As a Graduate Environmental Consultant, you will apply your technical background in a dynamic commercial environment. You will be comfortable working on field surveys away from home and in the office. You will have the opportunity to develop client-facing consultancy skills, learning how to assist with proposals and deliver projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field surveys, including peat depth and condition surveys for upland developments
  • Requirement for weekend working and overnight stays to meet fieldwork project needs
  • Site work including water quality monitoring
  • Assistance in report production including baseline data gathering and impact assessment
  • Assistance with tender preparation and other work aspects as necessary

Person Specification:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science or engineering subject, e.g. geoscience, environmental science, engineering, geography, hydrology
  • The ability to work in a team and individually
  • Good time keeping
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be willing to travel and work away from home
  • Good navigation skills
  • Enthusiasm for working out of doors
  • A first aid qualification would be beneficial
  • GIS experience would be beneficial
