Ecological Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant to join our team in Stirling. As a key member of our Ecology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ecological services to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ecological surveys and assessments to inform project development and planning
  • Develop and implement ecological mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on the environment
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Manage and lead complex ecological projects, including linear infrastructure projects
  • Design and implement ecological surveys and mitigation measures, including habitat creation and enhancement

Requirements:

  • Hold a BSc and/or MSc degree in Ecology or a closely related subject
  • Have, or be eligible, for CIEEM membership
  • Have sound knowledge of the Scottish planning system and environmental legislation
  • Author, and peer review, a range of typical ecology reports
  • Be knowledgeable on delivering BNG solutions in Scotland and remain up to date with industry changes
