Job Title: Teaching Support Specialist

Estimated salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.

About the Role

Austin Fraser is supporting a renowned training company in delivering high-quality apprenticeships to trainee teachers and school Executive Leaders. As a Teaching Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert knowledge and experiences to learners in the Teaching Assistant sector.

Your key responsibilities will include planning, co-ordinating, mentoring, and supporting on training and assessment for apprentices based in the Teaching Assistant sector. You will deliver high-quality training, including functional skills, to meet awarding body standards.

  • Create tailored action plans for candidates.
  • Deliver workplace training covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours.
  • Support English and Maths training, ensuring successful completion in collaboration with FS specialists.
  • Provide tutorial support on Prevent, British Values, Personal Development, Behaviour, Welfare, Safeguarding, and additional learning needs.
  • Conduct remote webinars for apprentices.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a qualification or experience up to Level 5 (Specialist Teaching Assistant) and have up-to-date industry knowledge. A full driver's license and use of your own vehicle are essential.

You will work a hybrid position, travelling to local teaching settings across a geographical area close to home. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of the education sector.
