Health Equity and Screening Officer

Livewell Southwest CIC is committed to promoting health equity for people with learning disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Health Equity and Screening Officer to join our team and support this mission.
In this role, you will facilitate engagement with national screening programs, provide educational support, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop training resources. You will also work closely with local learning disability groups to identify and overcome language barriers that contribute to health inequalities.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current research identifying health inequalities for people with learning disabilities. They should possess effective communication skills, experience working in community settings, and knowledge of current legislation and best practices.
