About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team within the UK's leading supplier to the nuclear industry. As a key member of our Civil, Structural and Architectural (CS&A) team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects across the nuclear lifecycle, from design and build to operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver bespoke and innovative structures for decommissioning and new build projects
  • Support operating nuclear sites with structural inspections and site surveys
  • Work on projects involving state-of-the-art mechanical handling equipment and process systems
  • Collaborate with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects
  • Ensure all work is carried out with a positive attitude towards safety
Requirements
  • Experience in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork
  • Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory standards
  • Ability to work on projects from initial scheme and concept design to engineering and detailed design
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as Tekla and Robot
