Land Acquisition Specialist

Madisons Recruitment is seeking a skilled Land Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring land for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with land agents, landowners, and other stakeholders to identify potential land opportunities.
- Conduct site assessments and market research to determine the viability of land purchases.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and sales teams to establish land acquisition criteria and priorities.
- Obtain site records and coordinate land registry/ownership enquiries to ensure accurate land information.
- Prepare appraisals and reports using software tools to support land acquisition decisions.
- Manage external consultants and coordinate information flow to meet project timelines.
- Attend design team meetings and collaborate with colleagues and external consultants to ensure effective land acquisition.
- Liaise with planning department representatives to manage the planning process and discharge pre-commencement planning conditions.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in the industry, preferably with a construction company.
- Hold a Planning/Surveyor qualification or equivalent.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Company car allowance or company vehicle provided.
- 22 days annual leave + bank holidays and Christmas period.

- Working hours: 8:30 - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
