Taylor Root is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Company Secretary to join their Governance function on a six-month fixed-term contract. This role will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Board and Executive Committee, and act as the lead regulatory and governance expert for the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR.)

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the Board and Executive Committee
* Act as the lead regulatory and governance expert for the SMCR
* Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer to enhance the Governance function

Requirements:

* Financial Services experience and exposure to the FCA
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and governance best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements:

* Hybrid working policy of 3 days a week in office (with Wednesday as an obligatory team day)

About the Role:

This is a critical role that will significantly contribute to the firm's long-term strategic goals. The Chief Risk Officer has ambitious plans to expand the team and enhance the function following this appointment.
