Job Title: Education Assistant Role

Overview: Prospero Teaching is working with an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated SEN School based in Christchurch, Dorset. We are looking for a dedicated and supportive individual to join our team as a Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN).

Salary: £70 per week (minimum rate of pay)

Job Description: As a Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN), you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will involve:
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Encouraging students to participate in lessons and activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must hold the right to work in the UK, have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, and provide two professional child-related references.
