About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor in Anaesthesia to join our team at University Hospital Ayr. As a key member of our anaesthesia department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthesia and perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver anaesthesia and perioperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Develop and maintain sub-specialty interests, including perioperative medicine and regional anaesthesia
  • Participate in on-call activities, providing anaesthesia for emergency surgeries and input to critical care
  • Collaborate with the anaesthetic department to provide advice and support for critical care patients
  • Contribute to the development of the anaesthesia department, including teaching and mentoring opportunities
