Job Summary

Standard Chartered's Securitised Products Trading team is a key player in the global structured finance and asset-backed markets. We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the strategic direction and performance of our team, focusing on origination, structuring, and monitoring of securitised warehouse and private facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to grow our securitisation business, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including Legal Counsel, Rating Agencies, and Third-Party Vendors.
  2. Work closely with the Securitisation team to ensure effective risk management, service, and infrastructure, maximising total product income and driving commercial, competitive pricing of bespoke securitisation facilities.
  3. Provide proactive, comprehensive, and timely credit analysis to Specialised Finance Risk and management teams, identifying opportunities and providing forecasts and challenging views on markets, assets classes, and issuers.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in securitisation, structured products, and credit risk management. You should have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of securitisation, structured products, and credit risk management.
  • Experience in origination, structuring, and monitoring of securitised warehouse and private facilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with data and models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
