This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and results-driven personal injury case specialist to join a well-respected firm of solicitors in Carlisle. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury files from inception to settlement, ensuring the highest standards of client care and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare accurate case assessments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements, with precision and attention to regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in negotiation, settlement discussions, and mediation to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Represent clients in court when required and liaise with counsel to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and comply with procedural and regulatory requirements to minimise risk and maximise success.


Candidate Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience handling personal injury cases in a similar legal setting, with a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, civil procedure, and litigation process, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing priorities and deadlines.

A competitive salary of £38,500, dependent on experience, plus benefits including 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays and a contributory pension scheme.
