In this role, you'll use your clinical expertise to assess individuals' functional abilities and provide accurate reports to support their benefit entitlement.

">About the Role

You will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions, chronic pain disorders, and other disabilities. Your compassionate approach will help customers move forward with their lives by understanding how their condition affects their daily life.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS. You should be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports. Our tailored training programme will equip you with the necessary skills to thrive in this role.

  • Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
  • Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision
