Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Community Health CIC. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care for patients in a prison environment. Your responsibilities will include Substance Misuse monitoring, reception screening, providing agreed care packages, undertaking physical health observations, and conducting clinics such as Phlebotomy, ECG, NHS health checks, and health promotion.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplined team, providing high standards of care to patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner. If you have NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience, we encourage you to apply.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Healthcare Support Worker who:

• Has NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
• Has experience of working with people with complex health needs in a health or social care setting
• Has knowledge of nursing standards gained through NVQ qualification or equivalent experience
• Has a good understanding and application of confidentiality
