Support Teacher for KS2 Class

We are currently seeking a Support Teacher to join our team at a Primary School in Cambridgeshire, supporting a mixed KS2 class of year 3 and 4 pupils.

In this role, you will collaborate with the teacher to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, using data to inform instruction and drive improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils' learning needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential
Requirements:
  • Exhibit a professional and approachable demeanor in the workplace
  • Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or EYFS Practitioner
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in challenging situations
  • Hold current training in Safeguarding, Prevent, or other relevant courses

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

Based on national averages and cost-of-living adjustments, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £23,800 in the Wisbech area.
