We are seeking a dedicated Academic Support Professional to join our team at a Primary School in Cambridgeshire.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support a mixed KS2 class of year 3 and 4 pupils, some of whom require additional support and 1:1 work to stay on target with their peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development
  • Assist with pupil progress monitoring and assessment, providing valuable insights to inform instruction
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils' diverse learning needs
Requirements:
  • Possess an approachable and professional attitude towards your work
  • Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or EYFS Practitioner
  • Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in challenging situations
  • Hold training in Safeguarding, Prevent, or other relevant courses

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

Please note that all applicants must have the necessary qualifications and training for this role. A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.

Based on national averages and cost-of-living adjustments, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £23,500 in the Wisbech area.
