Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Beechwood College. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and specialist clinical input to our multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in educational and residential provisions.

Main Duties

You will take a lead role in coordinating the overall clinical provision across the site, working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions, learning disabilities, and complex behavioural presentations. You will be responsible for providing support and direct practice leadership to the team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care and education.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a HCPC/NMC registered professional with post-qualification experience working in Autism and/or learning disability settings. You will have received post-qualification training in positive behavioural support and have substantial experience and knowledge of multi-disciplinary clinical intervention for people with an Autism Spectrum Condition.

About Us

You will join a multidisciplinary team involving colleagues from clinical psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, psychiatry, dietetics, education, and residential care. We have an active internal CPD process and links with local universities and special interest groups across specialisms. Our department is active in service evaluation and development, particularly in the areas of recovery-focused mental health care, autism-adapted evidence-based therapies, person-centred planning, positive behavioural support, and restraint reduction.
