About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Community Therapy Team at Okehampton Community Hospital.

The successful candidate will work with adults who have a wide range of disabilities, providing flexible and creative case management, clinical tenacity, and professional accountability to deliver excellent holistic patient care.

The Community Therapy Team works within the broader Health and Social Care team, alongside colleagues from Community Nursing and Adult Social Care, to provide integrated health and social care services across various settings.

We are a positive, progressive, and proactive team that adapts to the changing needs of our patients and the service demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist occupational therapy services to adults with a wide range of disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Community Therapy Team and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated health and social care services
  • Develop and implement creative and flexible case management plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Provide clinical tenacity and professional accountability to ensure excellent patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Community Therapy Team's strategies and plans
