Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Economist and Project Lead to join our team at Frontier Economics. As a key member of our Competition team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and promoting career development and excellence within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex competition-related projects, working closely with clients and legal counsel to provide strategic advice and technical support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their wider needs and identifying opportunities for growth and profitability.
  • Promote career development and excellence within the firm, mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful growth of Frontier, adhering to and actively promoting Frontier values.

Requirements

  • Evident proficiency and experience in competition-related project work.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, backed by a track record of supporting others and thriving in collaborative environments.
  • Proficiency in thought leadership, as well as strong capabilities in client and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbally and in writing, able to adapt to different audiences/styles.
  • Great organisational skills - able to organise a varied workload, prioritise effectively and keep stakeholders updated as appropriate.

  • A highly competitive salary, estimated at around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
