Crew Clothing Head Office is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to our warehouse, while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our 3rd party freight partner to manage supplier movements and ensure timely deliveries.
- Liaise with suppliers and our 3PL to ensure accurate and efficient despatches.
- Monitor and minimize costs such as demurrage, storage, and Customs charges.
- Work closely with our warehouse team to plan weekly intake, manage changes, and optimize peak periods.
- Utilize our 3rd party freight forwarders tracking system to provide visibility and clarity on Purchase Orders and Inbound freight.
- Identify and address potential late delivery/payment issues, involving relevant parties as necessary.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting, including freight costs, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including Finance, Buying & Merchandising, Wholesale, and Subprime, to confirm dates, costs, and other critical information.
- Maintain our Crew Logistics Supplier Manual, ensuring standards on inbound freight are met, and flagging non-compliance with Merchandising.
- Ensure AX is accurate and up-to-date with 3rd party logistics tracking system data.
- Review shipping documents, correcting any errors or discrepancies.
- Verify Customs Clearance, ensuring our 3rd party freight partner is processing correctly.
- Investigate stock missing on intake at the warehouse, reporting to Buying and Head of Logistics, and raising Debit Notes as necessary.
- Verify freight invoices for payment.
- Generate the weekly Supply Chain Report, including intake value, duty, and VAT by week.
- Benchmark freight rates against our 3rd Party Freight partner every 6 months.
- Report weekly and monthly performance metrics.
- Manage Supplier Compliance Reporting, communicating with suppliers and enforcing penalties as necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a supply chain role, particularly with freight forwarders.
- Retail background.
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft AX an advantage).
- MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Basic understanding of Customs & Excise.
