Description

An exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator / Planner to join a dynamic international agro-chemical products business. You will work with a close-knit and friendly team in a fast-paced environment; you will liaise with different stakeholders including suppliers, freight forwarders, warehousing, production, and customers – you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient running of key business operations.

Reporting to a highly experienced Operations Manager, main duties will include:

  1. Import and export of DG cargo
  2. Coordination of production with 3rd parties
  3. Responsibility for compliance of labelling and packaging
  4. Daily international communication
  5. Monitoring customers' orders and deliveries
  6. Assisting with forecasting
  7. Liaising with logistics, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and production to ensure optimal product supply
  8. Accurate recording and management of the inward processing procedure
  9. Production of import and export clearance instructions following the company's inward processing authorisation
  10. Preparing and managing weekly delivery schedules
  11. Monitoring and managing stock levels
  12. Maintaining accurate master data and inventory requirements
  13. Raising purchase and production orders

You will have the opportunity to both learn from experienced colleagues and to introduce new operational methods.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience within an international import/export company in a logistics/planning role. You must be a confident communicator (verbally and in writing), be numerate, and have good IT skills. You must have strong attention to detail, be diligent, systematic, and be capable of highly accurate record keeping. Experience in chemical production or manufacturing sectors and the handling of hazardous cargo would be advantageous but not essential.
