Are you skilled at electrical troubleshooting and interested in a challenging role with a global company? We are seeking an experienced Support Engineer/Technician to join our team, providing support for state-of-the-art equipment including digital and flexo printing machinery, packaging and labelling.

This is a great progression move for someone from a machinery engineering background who wants to eliminate travelling from their role.

As a Support Engineer/Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support and advice, troubleshooting customer issues
  • Applying an understanding of electrical drawings and mechanics of machinery
  • Responding to and managing queries received via the helpdesk
  • Planning and preparing the correct parts/equipment and resource needed for repairs
  • High customer service skills, taking customer calls and providing timely responses with the ability to stay calm under pressure

Key attributes required:

  • Engineering background with the ability to interpret electrical drawings and understand the mechanics of machinery systems
  • Previous experience working with print and packaging machinery
  • Very good understanding of complex systems and applications
  • Fantastic communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a high pressure and demanding environment
