About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Play Specialist to join our Play Team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement safe and high-quality play programs that meet patients' emotional, social, developmental, and creative needs.
  • Respond to referrals from the multidisciplinary team to provide support for children and young people through play preparation and play programs.
  • Supervise play assistants, students, and volunteers throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with the Play Department to develop and implement play programs that promote patient well-being and satisfaction.
