Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at Strive Supply Chain LLP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the E-Commerce warehouse operation, ensuring all colleagues are motivated, engaged, and focused on customer service, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Ecommerce operation, including Goods In, Picking, Replenishment, and Despatch, ensuring efficient and safe processes.
- Lead and motivate First Line Managers, Team Leaders, and Warehouse Colleagues to achieve daily and weekly targets.
- Develop and implement daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines.
- Collaborate with management colleagues to ensure cross-functional working and labour planning.
- Drive a culture of health and safety and continuous improvement, ensuring all tasks are undertaken safely and completed to schedule.
- Manage stock movements using the NAVISION (WMS) system.
- Report on the performance of the various teams within the shift, focusing on meeting agreed targets and goals.
- Plan and manage labour and demand, constructing and preparing daily and weekly rotas, holidays, and overtime hours.
- Liaise with agencies to ensure temporary worker cover and training.
- Manage day-to-day people issues, including absence management and disciplinaries and grievances.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in managing warehouse colleagues in a high-volume, fast-moving operation, preferably in E-Commerce or fulfilment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock movement, and resource planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft software, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Significant experience with warehouse management systems.
