Job Title: Large Scale Construction Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our clients in delivering large, complex data center projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Power Management Systems (EPMS), and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across various data centre facilities.
  • Evaluation of system performance, reliability, and security to ensure adherence to client standards.
  • Supervision of the installation and commissioning of BAS, EPMS, and HVAC systems, verifying compliance with specified designs.
  • Leadership in the design of BAS and other HVAC systems, including creation, review, and modification of test scripts, documentation, technical specifications, panel drawings, equipment lists, data hall designs, volumes, pressures, temperatures, networks, containment, and mechanical cooling systems.
  • Ensuring the correct designed containment model is installed as per design, all devices are installed according to approved specifications, and cabling and pressure tubbing are installed as per design and thoroughly tested before acceptance.
  • Management of commissioning vendors, execution of L2 & L3 test scripts to the highest level, and issue for witnessing by the CxA.
  • Representation and maintenance of relationships with clients and liaison with external stakeholders.
  • Responsibility for managing project technical infrastructure.
  • Coordination and monitoring of planned execution related to EA and critical milestones.
  • Management of projects through relevant phases, ensuring requirements and deliverables are met.
  • Ensure effective information flow between parties to the contract.
  • Leadership or attendance at key meetings, provision of progress reports, collaboration to resolve issues, and communication of impacts to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role as Large Scale Construction Project Lead.
  • Proven track record of delivering large scale, complex construction projects such as data centers.
  • University degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civils or closely related field.
  • Must have a team attitude, be self-motivated, and willing to support other groups and projects when required.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress drawing on strong planning and organization skills.
  • Understanding of MEP and/or CSA disciplines.
  • International work experience or working within an international context is an advantage.
Estimated Salary:

£75,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
