SEN Teaching Assistant Position

This SEN teaching assistant role is an exciting opportunity to support a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a Year 1 class. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with ASD.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to the pupil, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to design and implement tailored learning strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the child's sense of security and confidence.
- Assist in developing essential skills such as communication, independence, and engagement.
- A minimum of £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a 1:1 or SEN-focused setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and effective strategies for supporting learners with this condition.
- Exceptional communication, patience, and adaptability.
