**About the East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre (SILC)**

The East SILC is a special school catering to students with complex learning needs and physical/medical difficulties. Our organisation operates across multiple sites, providing outreach services in partnership with local primary and secondary providers.

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Worker to join our Behaviour team at John Jamieson School. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable pupils who require tailored support for their behavioural and communication needs.

The role involves delivering interventions to small groups, supporting the Lead BSW with system organisation, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective pupil support. To succeed in this position, you should be an excellent communicator, able to work positively and calmly as part of our team.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity subject to a 6-month probationary period. We welcome applications from individuals with an NVQ Level 3 in Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.

A school visit is highly recommended for prospective candidates. Interviews will take place shortly after the application deadline.
