Job Title: Maths Education Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Education Lead to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Maths Education Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of maths curriculums for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of maths curriculums for our pupils.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants to direct them in supporting pupils with maths learning.
  • Support team members with the delivery of maths across the school.
  • Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes.
  • Work with neurodiverse children and young people, providing tailored maths education to meet their individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Ability to teach maths to Level 2 (GCSE/Functional Skills).
  • Patience, compassion, and resilience when working with neurodiverse pupils.
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A driving licence to transport pupils to learning settings.
  • A genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs.
