London, Greater London, United Kingdom Cleo AI Full time

About Cleo AI

Cleo AI is a leading tech startup that empowers people to build a life beyond their next paycheck. We're building a beloved AI that enables individuals to forge their own path toward financial well-being.

With backing from top VC firms like Sofina, Balderton & EQT Ventures, we've reached millions of people to support them throughout their financial lives, from their first paycheck to their first home and beyond. Our mission is to radically change how people interact with and feel about their finances.

We're looking for a Senior Product Development Manager to lead our trading and investment efforts. As a key member of our New Ventures pillar, you will be instrumental in helping us explore and serve new user segments.

The Role:

As a Senior Product Development Manager, your primary focus will be on exploring trading opportunities, specifically in investment and crypto. You will lead the process from ideation and concept stages to validating and testing key assumptions, and ultimately designing, testing, and building an MVP that can scale if successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional squads to generate concepts that resonate with the target audience, particularly in crypto trading
  • Understand key financial assumptions that need to be tested and validated to ensure the product could be significantly revenue additive at scale
  • Decide on scope and trade-offs to get MVPs out to users for the most promising concepts and ensure success criteria are established and evaluated
  • Work with commercial finance, operations/partnerships to understand lead times and dependencies for scaling an MVP to a larger number of users
  • Align with marketing on value props for acquiring new users to the product

What You'll Get:

We offer a competitive compensation package (base + equity) with reviews every 8 months. This position is a PM4 level and we can pay £102,535 - £127,707 depending on experience.

As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy flexibility, hybrid-first work arrangements, and access to a range of benefits, including:

  • A clear progression plan with opportunities for growth and development
  • Generous pay increases for high-performers and high-growth team members
  • Equity top-ups for team members getting promoted
  • Private Medical Insurance via Vitality, dental cover, and life assurance
  • Enhanced parental leave and 1 month paid sabbatical after 4 years at Cleo
  • Regular socials and activities, online and in-person

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Early stage (0-1) product experience building consumer financial products, in the investments/trading/crypto space at a start-up or scale-up
  • Ability to say 'no' more than you say 'yes' to keep the squads focused on the most impactful priorities
  • Experience working collaboratively with product squads and involving them in strategy and decision-making
  • Creativity in approaching financial products, thinking about problems in a different way
