Support Individuals with Mental Health Challenges

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Allied and Clinical Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will provide direct support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions in a residential or community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients to enhance their quality of life and independence.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients in developing coping skills, managing symptoms, and achieving their recovery goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a mental health support role is required.
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.
