Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Real Greek. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management.
  • Lead by example, motivating and training kitchen staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety procedures, food safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
