The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our busy Paediatric Emergency Department, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care. As a Junior Sister / Charge Nurse, you will take charge of shifts and support the band 7 team leader with management of your team.

We are looking for a candidate with significant post-qualification experience in an Emergency Department, with sound clinical knowledge and the ability to work in all areas of the Paediatric Emergency Department. You will have the opportunity to participate in teaching and supervision of junior staff and student nurses, helping to lead and manage their development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Paediatric Emergency Department
  • Take charge of shifts and support the band 7 team leader with management of your team
  • Participate in teaching and supervision of junior staff and student nurses
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care

  • 1st level Registered Paediatric Nurse
