Senior Financial Analyst

As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and analysis to drive business performance at Brakes, the UK's largest foodservice supplier. We are seeking a highly numerate and commercially aware individual to join our team, working closely with sales and finance teams to deliver high-quality financial insights and analysis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining accurate and timely financial reports, including daily sales and KPIs, with associated variance analysis to understand and articulate any movements.
- Validating new business wins and reporting on performance of sales colleagues.
- Leveraging analysis into deliverable guidance/recommendations to Sales & Finance managers and directors.
- Acting as an ambassador for finance, promoting cross-functional collaboration and understanding.
- Forecasting & Flash management and ownership of Workday updates.
As a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in finance business partnering, management accounting, or finance analysis, you will have a strong background in financial analysis and modelling, with excellent Excel skills and a high level of commercial awareness.
