Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our vibrant Stevenage office audit team. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key part in the audit team, ensuring that audit planning, fieldwork, and completion are performed to a sufficient standard.

The Perfect Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice, as well as experience of leading external audit assignments from planning to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and complete audits reporting to audit seniors but also directly to managers for lower risk audits.
  • Prepare accounts, reports, and other assignments as required.
  • Liaise with clients and relevant departments within the firm to coordinate planning.
  • Builde and maintain relationships with clients and related third parties.
  • Lead on-site audit teams and complete jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget.
  • Develop awareness of business development, including promoting the firm and its services to the existing client base and prospects.
  • Supervise and develop trainees.
