About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Stevenage. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our audit team by providing technical expertise and leadership in the planning, execution, and completion of audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit reports and ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing.
- Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and audit procedures.
- Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and meet the required standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in audit and assurance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or part-qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute, or equivalent international qualification).
- Proven experience in audit and assurance, with a strong understanding of International Standards on Auditing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex audit issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
