Senior Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Fostering Service team in Wakefield. As a key member of our Supervisory Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children in foster care.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team manager and advanced practitioner to deliver high-quality services to children and families. You will be responsible for:
- Matching children with suitable foster carers
- Providing placement stability and achieving good outcomes for children
- Working closely with foster carers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified Social Worker with at least 2 years post-qualifying experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload of varying needs and complexities
- Experience of working with children in care and foster carers
