Social Worker/Senior Social Worker/Enhanced Social Worker

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join our Children's Safeguarding Team at Wakefield Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families throughout their journeys within children's services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a mixed, capped caseload of child and family assessments, child in need, child protection, completing S.47 investigations and proceedings.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure effective collaboration and support.
- Write high-quality reports and assessments, and analyse information effectively to inform decision-making.
- Excellent salary grade range: G9/10/11 Social Worker/Senior / Enhanced Social Worker (£31, – £45,)
- Full-time post of 37 hours per week with workplace-based/flexible option available.

- An ability to write high-quality reports and assessments and analyse information effectively.
