Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Therapist for Children and Young People to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people who require specialist ADHD diagnosis and treatment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and monitoring treatment plans. You will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate children and young people for ADHD, considering potential co-occurring conditions to inform diagnostic decisions.
  2. Apply clinical judgment and experience to make treatment decisions, utilising advanced skills and knowledge in managing ADHD in children and young people.
  3. Exercise independent professional responsibility for diagnostic decision-making within competence, whilst receiving monthly supervision from Team Leads.
  4. Practice as a non-medical prescriber (independent/supplementary prescribing) to develop and implement treatment and titration plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified nurse, current UK registration and PIN with the NMC (Essential)
  • Qualified Non-medical Prescriber (NMP) with current registration (Essential)
  • At least 2 years post qualification and experience of working with Children and young people (Essential)

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a contributory pension scheme, dedicated administration support, and regular line management supervision.
