Job Overview

Vita Health Group is a leading provider of mental health services, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies service, you will play a vital role in delivering Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to individuals struggling with anxiety and depression.

About the Role

  • This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring psychologists or those looking to transition into a career in mental health to gain valuable experience and develop their clinical skills.
  • You will work closely with experienced supervisors and a motivated team of mental health professionals to deliver evidence-based treatment plans.
  • A typical working week includes 4 days of clinical practice with the service and 1 day attending university, where you will participate in face-to-face training and academic assessments.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least three GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Maths or Statistics.
  • A minimum of one passed A level study or equivalent Level 3 qualifications may also be considered.
  • Candidates must demonstrate ability to perform at academic Level 6 and have evidence of at least one year's working experience in settings with high exposure to people with mental health difficulties.
